At Ocean World Adventure Park & Marina we continue to watch closely the development of the world’s health and, as the situation unfolds and there is good news in regard to vaccination campaigns, we are committed to stay in compliance with all local and international guidelines aimed to guarantee our visitors a safe experience.
In addition to the certifications from the Ministries of Tourism, Health and Labor from the Dominican Republic, we worked in coordination with Travelife,our sustainability certification body, to achieve the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) “Safe Travels”stamp of approval.
This is the world’s first global safety and hygiene stamp for travel & tourism, designed specifically to address COVID-19 and similar outbreaks. Since it was launched, it has been awarded to 250 destinations around the world and its objective is to restore global traveler confidence and encourage recovery in the tourism industry with the guarantee that a standardized health and hygiene protocols have been adopted around the world.
Travelife partnered with the WTTC to authorize the use of the “Safe Travels”stamp to members that complete the “COVID Resilient Training” and achieve full compliance to the Safe Travels Checklist.
Ocean World Adventure Park & Marina’s team successfully completed all steps to achieve this stamp and continues leading the way for a prompt industry recovery guaranteeing safe, healthy and sustainable tourism operations.
